Mark Dankof’s Conversation with Iran’s Habilian Association: Latest Observations on the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK/PMOI)

Mark Dankof in Washington, D. C. in November of 2011

The Iran-based Habilian Association renews its conversation with American populist Right commentator Mark Dankof on the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK/PMOI/MKO), the latest developments surrounding it, and the implications for American foreign policy as tensions between the United States and Iran increase because of the Zionist State of Israel and the flexed political muscles of the domestic Jewish Lobby in an American Presidential election year, as evidenced by the upcoming American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conclave in Washington.

Mark Dankof was the Constitution Party’s candidate for the U. S. Senate in Delaware in 2000.  He is now teamed up with radio broadcaster Mark Glenn on The Ugly Truth.  Their most recent broadcast dealt with the doctrine of “Eretz Yisrael” [“Greater Israel”] and the threat this ideology presents to peace in the Middle East, Palestine, Central Asia, and globally.  Mr. Dankof’s most recent appearance for Iran’s Press TV dealt with the Bradley Manning/Wikileaks controversy.

Habilian Association:  Mr. Dankof, there have been allegations recently that the MEK was involved in the recent bomb blasts in Thailand.  What do you think of these allegations?  If you place any validity in them, for what purposes would the MEK have been involved?

Mark Dankof:  I am aware of the allegations made by Syedsulaiman Husaini, the Shia leader of Thailand, that the MEK was directly involved, and that all four (4) of the suspects were MEK operatives.  His allegations were published in the Bangkok Post.  Mr. Husaini’s allegations make perfect sense to me.  In the first place, the Iranian government is not reckless enough to sanction such an absolutely absurd undertaking, any more than the so-called Saudi Ambassador assassination plot in the United States Iran was linked to by the American media.  I emphasized this in my last conversation with you fine folks and with Press TV.  Tehran would have everything to lose by such actions, in essence handing the Zionists the public casus belli they seek in conjunction with the Zionist-affiliated War Party in the United States.  Everything about this recent incident in Bangkok points to a False Flag Operation conducted by the Mossad and the MEK for purposes of discrediting Iran, facilitating their propaganda campaign about Iran’s posited danger to the international community, and diverting attention from their own obvious acts of terror within Iranian borders in recent years, including the assassinations of the 5 Iranian nuclear scientists.  NBC News has all but confirmed MEK/Mossad involvement in these killings, quoting an “unnamed senior U. S. official” as confirming a direct Israeli/MEK involvement not only in these 5 murders, but in other acts of terror in Iranian Azerbaijan, Khuzestan, Balochistan, and Khorasan provinces.  The published research on all of this by Philip Giraldi of the Council for the National Interest, a former CIA station chief, underscores what NBC, Newsweek, Time, and CNN aren’t really attempting to conceal anymore—that there is a systematic campaign against Iran that involves assassinations, drone airspace violations, bomb blasts, cross-border black operational raids, Western intelligence money being funneled to political dissidents, and now the central bank and oil/gas industry sanctions designed to isolate Iran and wreck its economy.  When the Washington Post admits that there has been a “five-fold increase” in “unexplained” explosions affecting Iranian oil and gas facilities and pipelines, military installations, and nuclear power-related operations, it doesn’t take a genius to see that these “unexplained” events are quite explainable.  They are obviously being facilitated by Israel through the MEK, and secondarily through Jundallah in Balochistan and PJAK in northern and northwestern Iran.  Giraldi tells readers of Pat Buchanan’s The American Conservative and Antiwar.com to pay particular attention to Iranian Azerbaijan as a place where Israeli and American intelligence will be especially active.  He states the following:

A separate finding on Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons program was signed in 2007 by President Bush. It authorized attacks against Iranian nuclear scientists and other facilities in Tehran and elsewhere as well as coordination with the Israelis to develop computer viruses to disrupt the Iranian computer network, a program that led to the production of the Stuxnet worm. While the media credits ‘the Israelis’ in the assassinations of Iranian scientists, the reality is that no Israeli (or American) intelligence officer could possibly operate effectively inside Iran to carry out a killing. The assassinations, which are acts of war, have actually been carried out by followers of the dissident Iranian Mujahedin e-Khalq (MEK), the separatist Baluch Jundallah, and the Kurdish PJAK, all acting under direction from American and Israeli intelligence officers. The MEK’s role in doing the CIA’s and Mossad’s dirty work is one reason so many neoconservatives and national security experts have been calling for the group to be removed from the U.S. terrorist group list.

“The new finding on Iran extends existing initiatives and is intended to strangle Iran by creating insurgencies along all of the country’s borders. It includes involvement with the Azeris, who inhabit northwestern Iran and share a common border, language, and culture with the people of Azerbaijan. Twenty million ethnic Azeris in Iran make up nearly 25 percent of the population. When combined with the 2 percent who are Baluchs, 7 percent who are Kurds, and 3 percent who are Arabs, it is easy to understand that Iran has a significant ethnic problem concentrated along its borders. This is precisely what the covert action seeks to exploit by encouraging ethnic fragmentation in the country’s border regions and supplying dissidents with communications equipment, training, money, and weapons.”

And now Israel has concluded a $1.6 billion dollar arms deal with Azerbaijan.

Here is the bottom line.  The United States and Israel are already at war with Iran, as Ron Paul has correctly observed.  The recent articles by Pat Buchanan, Pepe Escobar, and Alex Newman of the New American are among those which chronicle the real reasons for this bellicose policy of unmitigated aggression.  These reasons have nothing to do with the Zionist propaganda poured into American homes every evening by Corporate Media.  The Zionist doctrine of Eretz Yisrael; Iran’s forced entrance into a Jewish dominated international central banking system at gunpoint; and the control of Iranian oil, natural gas, and pipeline routes by Western multinational energy consortiums, is the real agenda.  And one of history’s most bitter ironies and paradoxes is that the Marxist-Leninist MEK is a tool in the achievement of these evil objectives.  The real point of intersection in all of this may well be the truism that Marxism, Zionism, and Multinational Corporate Capitalism have an identical disregard for God and a complete lack of respect for the sanctity of human life—especially Iranian human life.

Habilian Association:  The hue and cry of the MKO is that the conditions at Camp Liberty in Iraq are dire and inhumane, and that Iraqi forces are a threat to the wellbeing of the MKO inhabitants, even though the United Nations has confirmed that Liberty meets international standards.  What do you think of all of this?  Is the MEK going to resist further attempts at relocation?  What will Iraq’s reaction to continued resistance be?

Mark Dankof:  The propaganda campaign being waged by the MKO over their status in Iraq is being aided and abetted by Israel’s Lobby in the United States, as is made clear by reading Ron Kampeas’ piece for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and the Jerusalem Post entitled, “Pro-Israel Voices Want MKO off Terrorist List.”  I have some advice for both Iraq and Iran.  I believe all 3,400 MKO members should be returned to Tehran.  Those determined to have been directly involved in crimes should face a public tribunal for their massively expansive list of violent acts undertaken in that country since 1965.  The witnesses in the tribunal would include a rather impressive list of Westerners victimized by the MEK, including Constance Wilson Andresen, the ex-wife of Professor Raymond Tanter of Georgetown University who heads up the MEK’s chief front organization in the United States, the Iran Policy Committee.  The world needs to hear Mrs. Tanter’s story, the stories of the American family members whose loved ones were assassinated by the MEK during the days of Pahlavi Iran, the role of the MEK in killing dozens of members of the IRI government in Iran in the early 1980s by bomb blasts, the utilization of the MEK by Saddam Hussein against Iran during the Iran-Iraq War from 1980-1988, the role of the MEK in carrying out the murder of Kurds at Mr. Hussein’s directive, and the particulars of the murders of 17,000 Iranians by this Marxist-Leninist cult.  The horrific criminal record of this organization, when exposed by open public tribunal, will simply underscore the moral bankruptcy of the Israeli government presently in league with these people, and the connivance of Israel’s agents in the United States government with these murderers.

Habilian Association:  What do you think of barring Miryam Rajavi [co-leader of the MEK with husband Masoud Rajavi] from entrance into the UK?

Mark Dankof:  She should be barred.  She should also be expelled by France, along with her husband, and sent back to Tehran to stand trial along with the other MEK expatriates currently in Iraq.  Ed Blanche’s piece in June of 2009 for The Middle East on the MEK discusses the Rajavis.  It should be read by everyone in the United States currently feasting on Zionist propaganda on the subject, along with the RAND Corporation dossier on this organization and its sordid history.  The latter may be accessed at RAND_MG871 MEK PAPER .

Habilian Association:  Any final thoughts today?

Nuclear Israel's plan for Non-Nuclear Iran? Will Obama Give Netanyahu the Green Light?

Mark Dankof:  The sickening spectacle of the national gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington this coming week is, nonetheless, a pivotal event in world history, but for tragic and demonic purposes.  Benjamin Netanyahu is coming here in an American Presidential Election Year to extort support from a groveling American Chief Executive of the United States, his wannabe opponents in the Republican Presidential Primaries, and key Congressional members of both major parties on Capitol Hill, also known as Zionist Occupied Territory.  What happens at this gathering, and in the private meeting of Netanyahu with Obama and his Republican neo-conservative counterparts, may well determine the date when Israel’s overt aerial military operation against Iran begins.  I believe it will happen before the American election.  When it does, Philip Giraldi’s essay, “What World War III May Look Like,” underscores the horror and tragedy of the intended—and unintended—consequences that will undoubtedly follow.

I’d like to express one more thought tonight.  I have always loved Iran since I first traveled there in 1974.  It was my intention to return there for a visit this year, an intention unfortunately preempted by events beyond the control of any of us.  I’d like any Iranian who reads my remarks, either in English, or in a Farsi translation, to know from the bottom of my heart that I am truly and sincerely sorry for the direction the relationship between our countries has taken in recent years because of the poison disseminated by the Zionist beast, and that I and many similarly powerless Americans are sickened and outraged by what is likely to transpire in the next year.  I’ll never forget Iran and the kindness of its people as I encountered them personally many years ago as a young person.  My memories remain bright.  They will never die.  The Old American Republic already has.

Bomb Blasts in Iran and The Raymond/Constance Tanter DC Divorce Case: Is the MEK/MKO/PMOI/NCRI a Terrorist Outfit?

with one comment

Mark Dankof: The MEK/MKO/PMOI terror organization. Does it have the fingerprints of the CIA, Mossad, and MI6?

My radio partner, Mark Glenn, sent me the Agency France Presse (AFP) release today containing the tragic-comedic news that a Washington, D. C.-based 3 judge panel on the U. S. Appeals Court has declared that the U. S. State Department “failed to accord the People’s Mujahideen Organization of Iran [PMOI]/Mujahideen-e-Khalq [MEK/MKO] the due process protections” necessary for the latter to appeal its classification as a terrorist organization.

The 3 judge panel has apparently not been let in on the history of the MEK/MKO/PMOI in killing Americans working in Pahlavi Iran a generation ago.  The preferred method of assassination was to block off an unsuspecting American defense contractor or Embassy official in Tehran vehicular traffic, and then to spray the car with automatic weapons fire.  What were the “due process protections” accorded people like American Air Force Colonel Jack Turner of Dayton, Ohio, just one of the victims of the MEK/MKO/PMOI?

My past article on the MEK/MKO/PMOI will serve as an initiation for the uninitiated.  So will Ed Blanche’s research on this organization for The Middle East magazine, in June of 2009.

In my past op-ed on the MEK/MKO/PMOI, I noted the following:

And the ultimate paradoxes are these: First, Mr. Bush’s Operation Iraqi Freedom has resulted in the installation of a central government in Baghdad largely sympathetic to the IRI regime in Tehran, and with identical animosity to the MEK’s presence within its borders. Second, while Ed Blanche notes that it “was the MEK that disclosed the existence of Iran’s nuclear program in August 2002, stunning the U. S. intelligence and military establishments,” he fails to note credible information provided by Barry O’Connell and IPS’s Gareth Porter that the MEK’s role in “disclosing the existence of Iran’s nuclear program,” has been to serve as a clandestine conduit of information on the subject supplied by the Israeli intelligence community. Hello, Mossad, meet your new allies in the ‘Islamic-Marxist’ network worldwide.

There you have it. The Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), or People’s Holy Warriors, is an “Islamic-Marxist” terror organization, which assisted in implementing the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979; was subsequently involved in guerrilla warfare operations against the very Iranian Mullahs they helped to bring to power; fought on the side of Saddam Hussein for 8 years in the Iran-Iraq war between 1980-1988; and now, according to Barry O’Connell and Gareth Porter, is working with Jewish neo-conservatives and Israeli intelligence in planting false “intelligence” on Iran’s nuclear program with the American National Security State and Western news media, itching for a confrontation between Tehran and Tel Aviv—even as it now possesses an adversarial role with the very regime in Baghdad installed by Mr. Bush’s War. Confused?  . . .

Apparently, the 3 judge panel on the U. S. Court of Appeals in Washington also failed to consult the web sites of the Habilian Association , the Nejat Society , and Survivors’ Report.orgTurn off the Israeli propaganda beamed on Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News, and see the reports on these web sites.  One will learn that the MEK/MKO/PMOI has killed approximately 16,000 in Iran after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, along with many other things concealed from the American public by a Zionist-controlled media and national security establishment.

For this trio of black-robed boobs on the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Nation’s Capital (along with the rest of us), two recent developments bear closer watching in the days ahead.  The first is Chris Floyd’s post on the Jundallah-sponsored suicide bombing in Zahedan, Iran this past week, which is especially suggestive.  Not one American in 100 could tell you that Jundallah has a reported working relationship with both United States and Israeli intelligence.  What are the implications of this link, and Jundallah’s criminal activities in Iran?  Are the CIA and Mossad brokering murder and terror in that country?

Floyd, excellent as his writing and research are, missed one essential fact in this week’s analysis, a fact brought to international attention by Dr. Paul Sheldon Foote of Cal State Fullerton in a radio conversation with yours truly

Foote, a Ron Paul Republican, American Army veteran in Vietnam, and past denizen of the American Embassy in Tehran in olden days, tells us in that conversation that Jundallah has a working relationship with the MEK/MKO/PMOI in criminal acts of terror taking place in Iran with the full connivance of the United States government and Israel.

What in the world is going on here?  Are we forced to conclude that terror and murder are only defined as such when perpetrated by adversaries of the American and Israeli governments, but rationalized as “freedom fighting” when accomplished by our “allies?”  Do once-governing concepts of international law and civilized conduct not apply to the Central Intelligence Agency and Mossad?  And is there a relationship between the American government’s ongoing support for Israel’s lawless, immoral conduct in Iran, Gaza, and Palestine, and the disappearance of a Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branch committed to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution at home?

Thomas Jefferson and James Madison understood that an American government mired in constant foreign interventionism and militarism abroad, was a threat to the liberties and happiness of its own citizens. What would they have said about the United States government’s service to the Israeli Lobby, and the linkage to the criminals in organizations like the MEK/MKO/PMOI/NCRI?

Development number two involves a divorce case currently being litigated in Washington, D. C., involving Georgetown University professor Raymond Tanter and his estranged wife, Constance.

Dr. Raymond Tanter: The Intersection of Georgetown University, the MEK/MKO/PMOI/NCRI, and the Israeli-influenced WINEP

Tanter’s profile at Right Web makes for interesting reading.  The biography of the professor states that:

Raymond Tanter is an adjunct scholar at the pro-IsraelWashington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), a visiting professor at Georgetown University, and founder of the Iran Policy Committee (IPC), which was established in January 2005 to promote regime-change strategies in Iran. Tanter’s experience also includes serving on the National Security Council during the first Ronald Reagan administration and as a Pentagon arms control advisor.

Alban Towers in Washington: DC Headquarters of The Iran Policy Committee

Tanter has been a key advocate for U.S. support of the People’s Mujahedin Organization (MEK), which has been on the State Department’s list of international terrorist organizations since 1997, after it assassinated six U.S. citizens involved in selling weapons to the Shah. Shortly after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, Tanter vociferously pushed this argument, claiming that supporting the MEK could replace a U.S. invasion of Iran. He said, “I think that regime change ought to be the policy of the Bush administration. But regime change doesn’t mean that you need the 4th Infantry Division to come in from the north and meet up in the south with the 3rd Infantry Division coming in from the south and the Marines coming in from the West. That is, Iran is not Iraq.” Instead, said Tanter, the United States could support the Iraq-based MEK so that it could launch a cross-border insurgency against Iranian targets.

Tanter revived these arguments in a February 2010 IPC press release, claiming the “regime crackdown after the June elections has fomented a new cohesion among dissidents,” including the MEK and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which is also considered a terrorist group. Said Tanter, “Designation of the NCRI and MEK as foreign terrorist organizations acts an obstacle to building a coalition of dissidents. The irony, however, is that members of the MEK are paying a disproportionate price by being singled out for hangings among the thousands of individuals arrested since June.”

Both NCRI and the MEK also figured prominently during a 2005 IPC National Press Club briefing. Tanter said: “One military option is the Robust Nuclear Earth Penetrator, which may have the capability to destroy hardened deeply-buried targets. That is, bunker-busting bombs could destroy tunnels and other underground facilities. But the Pentagon’s 2001 Nuclear Posture Review states that over 70 countries employ underground facilities for military purposes, while the United States lacks sufficient means to destroy these facilities. In addition, the Non-Proliferation Treaty bans use of nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states, such as Iran. Such a prohibition might not apply as much to Israel. In this respect, the United States has sold Israel bunker-busting bombs, which keeps the military option on the table. . . .

“Empowerment requires working with Iranian opposition groups in general and with the main opposition in particular. The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK) are not only the best source for intelligence on Iran’s potential violations of the nonproliferation regime. The NCRI and MEK are also a possible ally of the West in bringing about regime change in Tehran. . . .

“The international community should realize that there is only one group to which the regime pays attention and fears: the Mujahedeen-e Khalq and the political coalition of which the MEK is a part, the National Council of Resistance of Iran. By delisting the NCRI and MEK from the Foreign Terrorist Organizations listing maintained by the Department of State, it would allow regime change to be on the table in Tehran. With regime change in the open, Tehran would have to face a choice about whether to slow down in its drive to acquire nuclear weapons or not.  . . .”

Into this labyrinth maze of American think-tanks, neo-conservatives, the Israeli lobby, an impending Third World War, and the MEK/MKO/PMOI/NCRI, steps one Mrs. Constance Tanter.

Constance Tanter: Targeted by Raymond Tanter and the MEK/MKO/PMOI in divorce settlement proceedings?

Mrs. Tanter publicly alleges in Washington, D. C.-based Divorce Court proceedings, and to many journalistic contacts, that Raymond Tanter utilized agents of the MEK/MKO/PMOI to terrorize her into signing a capitulationist divorce settlement in Paris, France, home to MEK/MKO/PMOI leaders-in-exile Masoud and Miryam Rajavi. She also alleges that Tanter directly, or indirectly, threatened her with “elimination.”

These allegations will presumably be examined by the Court.  While ushering at Washington’s National Cathedral recently,  Mrs. Tanner claims that amidst the throngs of hundreds there, she was approached by a Middle Eastern man, who handed her a napkin.  Her story to Paul Sheldon Foote, a bishop at the Cathedral, and yours truly, is that the napkin contained a simple message:  Drop it, or die.

Alleged Napkin of Greeting for Constance Tanter at Washington Cathedral: Drop It or Die

Are the allegations in this divorce case anger-driven fiction straight out of a Hollywood script for an Edward Woodward episode of The Equalizer?  Or are they a terrifying microcosm of a cosmic tragedy playing itself out in a clandestine battle of governments, intelligence agencies, hoodlums, and terrorists?

One thing is not in doubt.  Netanyahu’s globally public utterances, along with those of the Israeli lobby and American neo-conservative stooges like John McCain and Joseph Lieberman, underscore that war with Iran and the mass murder of Iranians, is the desired outcome for these constituencies, no matter how many thousands of innocents are killed or how far afield of true American national security interests this Zionist-driven madness really is.

You heard it all first from Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

And as for Constance Tanter, she plans on telling her story to Mark Glenn and Mark Dankof in a future broadcast of The Ugly Truth.  Stay tuned.
