Mark Dankof to the Tehran Times: No Difference Between Trump and Biden on Iran and Israel

The February 5th, 2021 interview of Mark Dankof by the Tehran Times on Trump, Biden, Iran, and Israel may be accessed on the Tehran Times site.

Tehran Times: Do you agree with American former president Donald Trump when he said JCPOA was a catastrophe? Did the deal undermine the peace in the Middle East?

Dankof:  I absolutely disagree with Trump and with anyone else who suggests that the JCPOA/P5+1 treaty with Iran was a “catastrophe.” My record on this is a public one, including my past interview with Tasnim News Agency on the subject.  David Stockman has written several articles on the subject that underscore the treaty’s verifiability, and the compliance of Iran with the treaty terms.  The treaty should have been the basis of a complete re-establishment of a peaceful political, economic, and political relationship between Iran and the United States.  Trump’s unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the pact is nothing more than an absolute illustration of the ownership of Trump’s foreign policy by Israel and its lobby in the United States as Stockman, Scott RitterPat Buchanan, and Philip Giraldi have made clear repeatedly.  The tragic thing is that the Democrats and Biden will prove no better when it comes to being the tools of Zionism and Greater Israel.

It is Giraldi who warns us in the Unz Review in an essay entitled, “A Domestic Terrorism Law?  War on Dissent Will Proceed Full Speed Ahead,” that dissidents like me in the United States are going to be targeted in more aggressive fashion than has ever been witnessed in the United States before.  My consistent criticism of American aggression for Israel in the Middle East, the role of Israel in the 9-11 event itself, Trump’s idiotic withdrawal from JCPOA, and the public role of the 45th President of the United States in the criminal extra-judicial assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, have earned me a place in the target folders of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith (ADL), the Southern Poverty Law Center, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Republican Jewish Coalition, and the Democratic Majority for Israel.  The launching of a false flag incident which would be penned on Iran as a prelude to a shooting war, would be accompanied by the arrest and incarceration of those here who would continue to speak out publicly against what is clearly being plotted. David Baxter’s article for the Institute for Historical Review (IHR) entitled, “The Great Sedition Trial of 1944:  A Personal Memoir,” serves as a primer for what the globalist, Zionist War Party has in mind in the future for those opposed to their New World Order.  Real American nationalists who oppose foreign wars, Iran, Putin’s Russia, Assad’s Syria, Hezbollah, and China are all in the crosshairs of this cabal.  Which is why I will continue working with Iranian, Russian, and American Alt Media for as long as I can possibly hold out.

Tehran Times: Other than the United Kingdom, the seven other nuclear-armed countries do not bother to say whether international law applies to their nuclear conduct. What is the practical solution to make other countries accountable?

Mark Dankof:  I cannot tell you that I honestly have in mind a practical proposal to make nuclear-armed nations uniformly observe international law as the basis of their actions.  In the case of the United States government, it is the only one in history to use these weapons against civilian populations.  And yet it presumes to tell Iran it has no right to utilize its rights as a signatory to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT), even as Israel is armed to the nuclear teeth, is not a signatory to the NPT, and was itself involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy as chronicled by both Laurent Guyenot and Michael Collins Piper.  As far as the bi-lateral relationship between the United States and Iran is concerned, Operation Ajax in 1953, the shoot down of Iran Flight 655, the utilization of the MEK-MKO terrorist organization against Iran and its government, the Soleimani and Fakhrizadeh murders, and the imposition of wartime economic sanctions on Iran after the latter kept its end of the bargain with the JCPOA deal, all underscore that the American word of honor is sadly one of dishonor.  This is not simply true with Iran, but with others including Russia, where the post-Cold War assurances to Gorbachev about American intentions and actions after the fall of the Berlin Wall have been routinely discarded.

Tehran Times: Do you think possessing a nuclear bomb is a successful deterrent strategy to prevent a war? We have examples of the US- The Soviet Union as well as India-Pakistan.

Dankof:  Let me answer this way:  Does anyone truly believe that the Israeli regime would be threatening to attack Iran if the latter had a nuclear weapon?

Tehran Times: Is it acceptable based on sanity and justice that only a few countries enjoy nuclear weapons and prevent others from possessing nuclear arms?

Dankof:  No, it isn’t acceptable.  The problem is identical to your previous question about making nuclear-armed nations uniformly observe international law as the basis of their actions.  I don’t know how those who possess the weapons can be made to voluntarily surrender them since there is so much distrust between those nations themselves, not to mention the problem of their relationships with non-nuclear powers.  I think a good place to begin would be the creation of a coalition of agreement among the non-American nuclear nations that Israel’s weaponized nuclear program must be brought into absolute international scrutiny and inspection. But it will never happen.  Therein lies the problem.

Tehran Times: Regimes like Saudi Arabia and Israel try to hinder reviving JCPOA or make it difficult. Do you predict that they can achieve their goals in the new American administration?

Dankof:  I believe they can and will.  The articles continue to proliferate about the Biden foreign policy and national security policy selections with absolute ties to Wall Street, Israel, Central Banking, and the armaments industry.  See samples from People’s Dispatch, the Texas Jewish PostReasonIn These Times,  Caitlyn Johnstone for Scoop, and especially Philip Giraldi’s essay for the Unz Review, entitled “Tony Blinken Replaces Mike Pompeo:  Israel’s Friends Will Enjoy Four More Years in Power.” Any illusion that the Biden-Harris team will be an improvement on the Trump-Pence team on issues of Israel, Iran, War, and Peace, is precisely that–an illusion.

My recommendation to Iran is to refuse to negotiate any “return” to the JCPOA treaty where Biden and Blinken will attach all sorts of new, untenable conditions, and for Tehran to insure that both President Putin’s Russia and the Chinese are ready to counter the Zionist Occupied Government (ZOG) of the United States when it comes to any Israeli aggression against Iran, especially where the use of the American military as a Janissary force for Greater Israel and the New World Order is concerned.

The Tehran Times with Mark Dankof: Iran cannot trust U.S. after Trump’s JCPOA exit

Mohammad Mazhari of The Tehran Times sat down with Mark Dankof on December 8th, 2020 for a discussion of what a Biden Administration’s foreign policy with Iran will look like, especially with regard to the JCPOA P5+1 nuclear treaty unilaterally abrogated by the Trump Administration.

Bonus: On the 79th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Mark Dankof’s warning in 2013 to Iranians, Americans, and the World about what the Zio-American War Machine has planned regardless of the occupant of the White House or the composition of the American Senate and House of Representatives, is still critical reading as 2021 approaches. The Tehran Times Talks to Mark Dankof on JCPOA, Trump, Bolton, and Empire

TehranTimes04

Mohammad Marzari of the Tehran Times sits down with American paleo-conservative broadcaster and columnist Mark Dankof to discuss JCPOA, Donald Trump, John Bolton, and the waning character of the American Empire.

Tehran Times: The UN Security Council has rejected the US proposal to extend the Iran arms embargo. In this regard Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) has said that “It wasn’t a defeat. It was a rout.” Is that such a catastrophic result for the U.S.?

Mark Dankof: It was a deserved rout and an absolute embarrassment and foreign policy catastrophe for the United States. I am among those on the American Right who supported, and still support JCPOA. Pat Buchanan and David Stockman are two other examples, Stockman having written an outstanding defense of the treaty in several places. He has also rightly attacked Trump for the Soleimani Assassination.

Some of my own past remarks are still relevant for Tehran Times readers at the Tasnim News Agency on several subjects and at Charles Bausman’s Russia Insider.

In the end, the UN Security Council members know that the treaty is solid, undermined by the Israeli Lobby’s control of the foreign policy of the United States regardless of which political party is in power, and an agreement where the illegitimate unilateral withdrawal of the Trump Administration from the deal is the breaking of the American word of honor not only to Iran but the other signatories. The notion that the United States insists it can continue to dictate policies on Iran and the JCPOA terms having withdrawn as a party to the deal is especially outlandish, and an insistence no one else outside of Mr. Trump’s Zionist entourage is buying.

Tehran Times: How do you assess Trump’s “maximum pressure” policy? Was it successful?

Mark Dankof: It is an obvious failure. The Europeans are increasingly disenchanted with Washington’s Zionist war drum beating, and the “maximum pressure” approach is simply and understandably strengthening the Russian and Chinese political and economic relationship with Iran at American expense.

Tehran Times: Do you think that the rest of world including the European countries will cooperate with Trump’s administration to ruin the nuclear deal by triggering “snapback” sanctions on Iran?

Mark Dankof: With the exception of the UK, I believe the other European powers will balk at this idea. The German resistance to illegitimate American interference with the Nord Stream 2 deal with Russia is both an example of a reassessment of post-war American dictation of policy to Europe, a situation that will exacerbate resentment of American dictation on Iran policy and JCPOA, and eventually force a reassessment of NATO and Neo-Conservative militarism toward Russia in the post Cold War world where the Reagan-Bush I pledges to Gorbachev have been systematically broken in the same way that the American promises on JCPOA have been. It is beginning to dawn on Europeans that the Zionist Neo-Conservative foreign policy on both Iran and Putin’s Russia makes them more vulnerable and far less secure. It is my hope that a comatose American electorate eventually figures this out in terms of their own self interest and national security.

Syrian Christians are among the Zionist victims of war and subversion.

Tehran Times: On May 8, 2018, the United States withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA–the nuclear deal) unilaterally while Iran was committed to its obligations. Now Trump tries to use the deal to unite the other signatories against Iran? What kind of logic is that?

Mark Dankof: There is no logical rationale whatsoever for this counterproductive lunacy. It must be understood in terms of the Israeli Lobby stranglehold on American Presidential Administrations, Congress, and Mainstream Media (MSM) in the United States. Trump is perhaps the worst example of this yet, in terms of an absolute blank check being issued to Israel on Gaza, Lebanon, the Occupied Territories, and East Jerusalem. This is not changed by the 2020 election year fraud of the American-brokered “deal” between Israel and the UAE which does nothing for the Palestinians at all. Netanyahu admitted that his annexation policies are “still on the table.” You can be assured they will reappear after the first Tuesday in November in the United States.

Tehran Times: Do you expect that America will recognize the reality of a multi-polar world?

Mark Dankof: I do not believe that this reality has yet dawned on an American National Security and foreign policy establishment drenched in false notions of Empire, and false doctrines of American and Israeli Exceptionalism. A $26 trillion dollar national debt, the rise of competing economies and military establishments around the world, and an American domestic scene mired in more political and cultural division than I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime, suggest the obvious end of the post WW II American Empire for reasons similar to the end of the old British Empire and the dissolution of the USSR. But the American political oligarchy seems presently oblivious to this obvious reality.

Tehran Times: What about former American Ambassador to the UN and ex-Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton, and his advocacy of a “maximum pressure” policy on Iran, as he expressed this in his recent interview with the BBC?

TehranTimes05

Mark Dankof:  “John Bolton is an Apostle of World Zionism, the Israeli Government, and the Israeli Lobby solely interested in a war for Netanyahu and Neo-Conservative Regime Change in Iran. He approves of the Soleimani Assassination and Marxist MEK terror operations in Iran and from the latter’s Troll Farm in Albania. His ideas, if implemented, would likely ignite World War III. Innocent Americans would die alongside innocent Iranians and others. It is not illegitimate to tag him as a war criminal with a psychopathic psychological profile. He is, simply put, a dangerous man.”
